This episode of the A is for Architecture Podcast features Professor Hilde Heynen, Professor of Architectural Theory at the KU Leuven, and Professor Lucía Pérez-Moreno, Professor of History and Theory of Architecture at the University of Zaragoza in Spain.

Hilde and Lucía have brought together a number of Hilde’s most significant essays in a new book, Architecture & Feminist Critical Theory: Selected Writings by Hilde Heynen. The collection traces an evolving position that emerges from critical theory into feminist theory, and more recently toward environmental justice, while consistently proposing alternative ways of seeing—seeking a path that is subtle, integrated, just, and marked by a little less “main character” energy.
