Book Launch ‘London Exile’ – 6 November 2025 – London

To mark the English-language launch of Burcu Dogramaci’s London Exile: Metropolis, Modernity, and Artistic Migration, the Ben Uri Research Unit is organizing a two-day symposium titled Metropolitan Crossings: Art, Displacement, and the Making of Modern London.
The event will take place on November 5–6, 2025, at the Ben Uri Gallery and Museum (108a Boundary Road, St John’s Wood, London, NW8 0RH). It will bring together scholars, curators, and artists to explore the intersections of exile, migration, and modern visual culture in mid-twentieth-century London.
As part of the programme, Burcu Dogramaci will present her book on 6 November 2025 at 16:30 (UK time), with an introduction by Ana-Maria Milčić and David Glasser.
